She's in her early 30s, she's a flight attendant and she's a Leo.
In the early 90s my sister and I would sit in front of the TV, and all we'd talk about are the pretty clothes the actresses were wearing in the TV show Beverly Hills, 90210. Every new episode we'd watch felt like Christmas day, patiently waiting to see what Kelly and Donna were wearing. I was only in the 3rd grade.
The name Paperdoll Sarah originated from my brick and mortar women's boutique that I co-owned with a good friend of mine called Paperdoll Clothing. We had a successful boutique business that lasted for 5 wonderful years (which was our goal, and so happy that we reached it). Paperdoll unfortunately came to an end when we heard the news that the owner of the building we were leasing from was expanding and needed our space to create more offices. It was a very bittersweet ending, and an experience I'll hold dearly to my heart for as long as I live. I was fortunate to be able to live out one of my dreams.
I'm a huge fashion, skincare, makeup, jewellery, foodie, DIY crafts, UFO and conspiracy theory researching junkie. Growing up, I remember looking through the pages of Fashion magazines thinking of ways I can replicate women's looks with what I have at home. It didn't always work out, but hey...at least I tried.
I can't describe my style in fashion because it truly depends on how I'm feeling that day. I definitely feel most comfortable in a moto jacket, which I find myself throwing on top of almost any outfit. Don't get me wrong...there are days when I feel like dressing like Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl, pulling out the frills, tailored blazers and a pair of shiny mary janes. That's what I love about fashion, you don't necessarily have to stick to one style. Fashion gives me freedom.
This blog is mainly an outlet for me to share my passion for all things I love. Sharing my interests with friends, co workers and family is something I very much enjoy, so I thought why not blog about it? It's a glimpse of what's actually going on in the mind of a woman who once told herself at the age of 12 that she'd somehow make a mark in the fashion world. This is the mark- this blog. I hope you enjoy reading it. Please comment on any of the posts, I'd love to hear your thoughts and connect with you!
